Accessibility & Other Considerations

Due to locality and/or easy accessibility, events held at the following venues can accommodate shorter hourly packages without the need for adding idle hours: Stratigos, Pluma, Banquets Unlimited, The Harrison Room, Doubletree Monroeville, The Willow Room, etc. For more more information on idle hours click here.
Downtown events incur a $50 fee due to traffic, parking, and accessibility issues.
Due to it’s weight and size, the photo booth cannot be moved over gravel, grass, or up more than two stairs.

Travel & Service Area

Ham It Up Photo Booth is located just east of Pittsburgh. Travel within 25 miles of our office is included with all our packages. However, mileage in excess of 25 miles will incur an additional fee of $1.65/per mile. If you are unsure whether a travel fee will apply to your event, please complete a Contact Form with the venue address.

Idle Hour (when the photo booth is not in use)

An idle hour fee of $75/hour may apply if your event requires a setup time of more than one hour prior to the event. This is time that the booth is not in operation but Ham It Up staff is required to setup early in order to avoid distracting the event. An example scenario might be a wedding where the ceremony and reception are at the same venue. In this situation, Ham It Up would set up prior to the ceremony and operate the booth after dinner. To find out whether this fee applies to your event, complete a Ham It Up Contact Form providing venue details and start/end times for your event.

Following are optional services provided at an additional cost by all companies.
Scrapbook Service	Custom-designed and handmade by a top scrapbook and graphic designer; various papers and embellishments are purchased and used to match the theme of the event.	Plain, black paper with gel pens OR, preprinted gaudy paper with gel pens OR DIY. Other companies may charge equal or more than Ham It Up for this service. However, the difference between the actual product is night and day. A Ham It Up scrapbook is a gorgeous, custom, heirloom piece as opposed to a simplistic photo album. Judge for yourself here.
Extra copies, larger prints (4×6, 5×7, etc.)	YES	YES
Other considerations: Will there be at least one booth attendant available to assist guests with booth operation and props? Ham It Up provides at least two booth attendants for every event. Do they have backup equipment in case of technical error? Ham It Up brings backup for all electronics inside the booth to each event.
