The Willow Room

November 12th, 2011

Here are some photos taken of Meghan and Mike’s scrapbook and our photo booth setup at The Willow Room. The scrapbook was yet another gorgeous, one-of-a-kind creation by top scrapbook designer, Amy McCabe. The photos were taken with a camera phone, so they’re not the greatest, but you’ll get the idea….

Winter Wedding

January 9th, 2011

We were so impressed with the winter wonderland theme and decorations of Jessica and Stephen’s wedding, we thought future brides might glean ideas and inspiration from these photos.  All decorations were handmade by the bride’s mother, Michelle and took a year in the making!

Unfortunately, I failed to get photos of some of the other cute ideas used at their wedding…  A table in the entrance lobby displayed a large, matted photo collage with photos of the bride and groom.  All the photos in the collage were in black and white which gave it a consistent, elegant look.  On each side of the photo collage was a framed photo of the bride and groom’s parents. (If anyone has photos of the table, I’d love to display it here.  Please email me at info@hammingitup.net.) Guests also enjoyed a photo slide show and were encouraged to sign a large, matted and framed photo of the couple.  Enjoy the photos…

Wedding Invitation Collages

October 9th, 2010

As I got exposure from the Ham It Up Scrapbooks someone asked if I could take a wedding invite and create a collage. The frames are shadowbox style and about 1″ deep. I take the invitation and pick out papers and embellishments to match. In some cases I work in the flowers from the wedding in – some cut on my Cricut and made from paper and in some cases I use felt flowers or embellishments from Creative Charms.

Take a look – this may give you some ideas for your wedding invitation.

Design Teams

October 1st, 2010

Don’t mean to toot my own horn but why not? I love to scrapbook! I am on two design teams. I receive assignments from companies and they ask that I create using their products.

I design for Creative Charms – if you scrapbook, check out their website here. They have great products to match your theme and look. For example they have a great feature on their website – you can shop by color. I recently created this wedding invitation collage and did a search for Brown & Orange embellishments.

I also design for the Crop Shop. They are located in Greensburg. They have an awesome collection of papers and embellishments. Here is a scrapbook page I created for the Crop Shop. It features the Bo Bonny line.

Thanks for stopping by!
