Allison and David’s wedding reception at the Heinz History Center was fabulous! There was delicious food provided by The Common Plea, great music from a live band, and tons of fun with the Ham It Up Photo Booth. The History Center is a very cool venue–upscale, modern, spacious with a touch of vintage thrown in for character. The room was decorated with luxurious textured gray linens, ivory chair coverings and accented with a touch of pink in the tall bouquets featuring Stargazer Lilies. As if the room wasn’t beautiful enough, Mother Nature provided a beautiful sunset backdrop visible to all via dramatic floor to ceiling windows. The cupcake tree featured elegant pink and ivory cupcakes adorned with edible pearls–adorable! For a better look, please see my mobile phone shots here.

P.S. The band was incredible! I didn’t catch their name, but got the card of the entertainment service to recommend them for my my niece’s wedding. They had the guests dancing within seconds! Gorgeous atmosphere, good tunes, lots of fun, delicious food…. great wedding!
